There’s a new way to support a loved one who has just experienced a job loss. A sympathy card.
The Chicago Tribune reported Hallmark’s new card section to cover the many emotions of job loss.
The cover of the one pictured with the story says, “Don’t think of it as losing your job.” Inside: Think of it as time off between stupid bosses.”
Of course, you would need to know the recipient very well to know whether they were ready for a humorous approach to job loss.
Hallmark and other companies providing job loss sympathy cards say they are making available words that help people connect with others at difficult times.
